GB4 - Classic Cars

For our fourth effort we contacted Peter Morgan of Morgan Cars, as a Morgan car features on one of the stamps. They supplied us with a nice picture of one of their cars and their official "winged" logo. He sponsored the issue with a goodly contribution, which enabled us to have the envelopes reproduced by a good printing firm for the first time. We charged members £5 each and one was sold in our May 1998 auction for £36.
