GB34 - Fire & Light

Cover GB34 was for the 'Fire & Light' stamp issue of 1st February, 2000 and Barry Hawkins produced another great watercolour for us. A view into the cabin of one engine, and another crossing a bridge, on the Vale of Rheidol narrow gauge railway which runs from Aberystwyth to Devil's Bridge in mid Wales. More details, and some pictures of three very old engines are on the insert card. 120 FDCs were produced at £10 each retail, most being immediately sold to members of GBFDC at a discounted price as usual.
