GB27 - Scientists

Cover GB27 was for the 'Scientists' stamp issue of 3rd August 1999 and we again turned to our favourite artist, Barry Hawkins for a portrait of Michael Faraday together with an illustration of his first little generator and a modern generating plant for comparison. 120 were produced at £10 each retail but were mostly sold to GBFDC members at the discounted price of £7.50
