GB18 - Christmas

GB18 'CHRISTMAS’. The picture is from an early mock-up three months before the issue date. The superb, 13th century stained glass window on the left is "The Jesse Tree" in Chartres Cathedral in France. The Smaller one on the right is a 15th Century window from Sir Peter Hungate church in Northwich in England. The face of the angel in the 15th century window is repeated on the handstamp. This was an issue of 188 at £7 each to GBFDC members.
